From recording to transcript

Five steps run in your browser, from local decoding to export.

  1. 01

    Decode locally

Your browser reads the chosen audio or video file and resamples a mono copy to 16 kHz.

  2. 02

    Download and cache models

Speech and speaker models come from Weeve’s CDN and are cached by the browser when storage allows.

  3. 03

    Transcribe speech

NVIDIA Parakeet creates punctuation, capitalization, and word timestamps in one of 25 languages.

  4. 04

    Identify speakers

sherpa-onnx groups speech into speaker labels. You can correct the count from 1 to 8.

  5. 05

    Review and export

Rename speaker labels, copy the transcript, or export Markdown, plain text, or PDF.
