Transcribe an exported meeting recording

Download or export the meeting recording from Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or another service. Then select that local file in Weeve. There is no direct integration and no bot joins your call.

Compatibility at a glance

Meeting exports commonly arrive as MP4, M4A, or other supported formats. The recording must be 60 minutes or shorter, and your browser must be able to decode its audio codec.

  • Zoom exports
  • Google Meet exports
  • Microsoft Teams exports

How it works

Four clear steps from local file to reviewed text.

  1. 01

    Export from the meeting service

Use the service’s own controls to download a recording you are allowed to process.

  2. 02

    Select the downloaded file

Open Weeve and choose the MP4, M4A, MP3, WAV, or other supported local file.

  3. 03

    Transcribe on the page

The browser decodes the recording and local workers create the transcript.

  4. 04

    Review who spoke

Set 1 to 8 speakers, rename labels, and export the meeting transcript.

Product details

Practical details for meeting transcription.

Export first, then transcribe

Weeve does not connect to meeting accounts, calendars, or cloud recording libraries. It cannot start a recording, join a call, or retrieve a remote file.

Export or download the recording using Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or the source platform. Once the file is on your device, you decide whether to select it.

Speaker labels without identity claims

Speaker separation groups segments that sound like the same voice. It does not know participant accounts, meeting rosters, or real names.

Automatic results can be imperfect when people overlap, microphones change, or one room microphone captures everyone. Choose a count from 1 to 8 and rename the labels after review.

Privacy and permission

Your selected recording and transcript stay on this page. Models download from Weeve’s CDN, and optional cookieless analytics contain coarse product events rather than file names or transcript content.

You are responsible for having the right to record and transcribe the meeting. Recording and consent rules vary by location and context.

Your recording stays here

Recording bytes, decoded audio, transcript text, and speaker names stay on this page. Speech models download from Weeve’s CDN.

A transcript you can review

Timestamps and speaker labels stay editable before export.

Great. I renamed your speaker label, so the exported notes will use your name.
